Area Sales Manager (Scotland)
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic sales team and drive growth across our distribution network in Scotland.
As the Area Sales Manager for Scotland, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer relationships while expanding the brand’s presence through an established and growing commercial distribution chain. This role involves building strong connections across all stages of the supply network, including wholesalers, distributors, resellers, and retailers, ensuring seamless product flow to end-user. You will play a critical role in optimising brand visibility within the tool and equipment market.
This is a field-based role that demands a proactive individual with strong relationship management skills and a solid understanding of the commercial sales and distribution landscape. You will report directly to the National Sales Manager, helping to deliver on key growth objectives and drive sales through our commercial channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the commercial supply chain, including wholesalers, distributors, resellers, and retailers, to drive sales and maximize product availability.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the distribution network.
- Conduct thorough local market research to understand demand trends and optimise product flow through commercial channels.
- Provide comprehensive support to stockists, including brand setup, training, open days, and ongoing communication to ensure a smooth and effective distribution process.
- Work closely with all points in the supply chain to ensure timely delivery and product availability, addressing any issues in the flow of goods.
- Stay market-aware through competitor analysis and distribution trends, helping to align the company’s sales strategies with market demands.
- Provide regular reports on sales activity, distribution performance, and progress toward achieving growth targets.
Experience, Education & Qualification:
- A strong sales background, ideally within the Hand/Power Tool or Automotive Equipment/Agricultural industries.
- Demonstrated experience in managing commercial relationships and optimising sales through distribution networks.
- A solid understanding of supply chain management, with a proven track record of increasing product availability and sales through wholesalers, distributors, and resellers.
- Financial awareness and a good grasp of the sales process, particularly within a commercial context.

Experience:
